Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus (CSU-SM) gathered faculty members, administrative personnel, and officials for its Year-End Celebration 2025 on December 15 at the Campus New Gymnasium.
Campus Executive Officer Prof. Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, in his welcome remarks, emphasized the value of laughter, gratitude, and hope as the campus moves forward. Drawing inspiration from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Alegado highlighted the importance of compassion, generosity, and renewal, encouraging employees to continue nurturing a culture of care and cooperation in the workplace.
University President Prof. Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, ASEAN, Engr., delivered the Christmas message, expressing appreciation for the panagkakadwa (unity) and panagtaripato (care) shown by the CSU–Sanchez Mira community throughout the year. He commended the campus for its strong performance in recent licensure examinations and acknowledged the collective efforts of faculty and staff in sustaining academic excellence.
Pres. Ibañez also shared future plans for the university and the campus, underscoring the importance of maintaining harmonious working relationships as CSU pursues further development and institutional growth.
The celebration featured yuletide performances by different colleges, Christmas greetings from the deans and AO, and the awarding of Most Outstanding Alumni.
In the afternoon, the activity continued with the distribution of Christmas packages and games organized by campus lecturers, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The activity aimed to formally close the year through fellowship, reflection, and recognition of shared accomplishments, while strengthening unity within the campus community.
