Students of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) marked the culmination of their community service activities with a final cleaning and greening drive at Nagbaranganan Old Site on June 7.
Led by the NSTP coordinator, Mr. Valentin Apostol, and supported by instructors, students from eight colleges actively took part in various tasks to enhance the site’s natural beauty and ecological health. The activities included trimming overgrown grasses around the designated tree areas of duhat, lanzones, mangosteen, rambutan, avocado, and coconut trees, planting additional trees, and clearing litters in the site.
The activity was held in alignment with NSTP’s core agenda of promoting environmental protection, cleanliness, and sustainability.
