Cagayan State University took a leading role in shaping the future of agriculture through the successful conduct of the International Conference on SMART Agriculture, at the Claude Andrews Convention Center in CSU-Andrews Campus on September 28, 2023. The conference attracted a diverse audience, with 90 participants attending in person and an additional 110 joining virtually via Zoom. Notably, CSU-Sanchez Mira actively participated online, with eight representatives from the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) and the College of Engineering (COE) connecting remotely. The conference boasted international involvement from ten countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, USA, Cambodia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines.
A wide array of participants, comprising 34 state universities, 6 private universities, and 5 government offices, delved into the theme "Shaping the Futures of Agriculture: Trends and Insights in SMART Agriculture." This collaborative event provided a platform for meaningful discussions and the exchange of innovative ideas, underscoring Cagayan State University's dedication to international collaboration and the advancement of SMART Agriculture.
