The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA)–Regions I, II, and CAR and Cagayan State University signed their first Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a ₱6.336-million coconut seednut distribution project.

Signed by PCA Regional Manager III Mark Roy Q. Macanlalay and CSU OIC-President Arthur G. Ibañez, the agreement allocates funds for the purchase of good quality coconut seednuts, chargeable against the CY 2025 Sustainable Planting and Replanting of Local Coconut Farmers Project (SPRLCFP) funds.

Under the program, CSU–Sanchez Mira campus will serve as the partner agency responsible for receiving and managing the seednuts, which will be distributed to qualified coconut farmers and would-be coconut farmers in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, to boost farm productivity and income.
