Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus has received ₱100,000 in funding support to advance innovative livelihood initiatives centered on coco- and nipa-based products.

The assistance was made possible through the Association of International Dynamic Educators, Inc. (AIDE, INC.), under the leadership of its Founder and CEO, Dr. Lynne A. Ciocon, in collaboration with Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, CESB Chair and CSU Consultant, who initiated the endeavor.

The financial support was formally awarded during the Mid-Year Performance Review held on August 18–19, 2025, at The Palacio de Laoag. The grant was distributed among offices who submitted research-based proposals aimed at establishing sustainable livelihood projects for the service communities of Sanchez Mira.

Beneficiaries of the funding include proposals from the College of Teacher Education, College of Engineering, College of Computing and Information Sciences, along with other initiatives under the Business and Resource Mobilization program.
These projects are envisioned to empower local communities, maximize the use of indigenous resources, and foster socio-economic growth through value-adding innovations
