The campus has officially implemented a Centralized Biometric System, marking a significant advancement in modernizing institutional processes and supporting the ongoing SMART Campus Transformation. Spearheaded by the MIS Office, through the Campus MIS Coordinator, together with the member of E2E Team, led the installation on January 15, 2026. This initiative was made possible through the unwavering support and guidance of Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, Campus Executive Officer, whose leadership continues to drive digital innovation across the campus.

To ensure accessibility and convenience, biometric devices are now strategically installed in four key locations across the campus, Administration Building, TVET Building, Library and MIS Office. These centralized stations allow employees to log their attendance with ease, regardless of office assignment or daily work location. All collected data is automatically synchronized to the main server, ensuring real-time recording and seamless integration into HR and administrative systems.
Meanwhile, the CSU-SM Old Site in Nagbaranganan is currently operating with a stand-alone biometric system. This temporary setup remains in place while internet connectivity in the area is still unavailable. Once connectivity becomes stable and accessible, the unit will be fully integrated into the centralized biometric network.

The successful deployment of the Centralized Biometric System marks another milestone in building a more innovative, data-driven, and ICT-empowered CSU Sanchez Mira Campus advancing digital operations across all university sites and supporting the long-term vision of a fully realized SMART Campus.
