CSU-Sanchez Mira strengthens TVET Programs with New Vehicle Acquisition
To further elevate its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, CSU-Sanchez Mira Campus has added a new vehicle, enhancing campus operations and training capabilities.
The vehicle, blessed by Rev. Fr. Juan Libangan Jr. on October 10, marks a significant investment in the institution's drive to deliver quality technical education.
Led by Campus Executive Officer Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado and TVET Coordinator and CA Dean May Martinez, this acquisition aims to enhance logistical support for the expanding TVET programs and improve driving qualifications, particularly through the Driving NC II certification, which will benefit CSU employees and external participants looking to improve their driving skills.
This purchase, which builds on previous initiatives like the acquisition of a Fortuner, underscores CSU's commitment to developing programs that meet learner needs, particularly through the expansion of offerings such as Driving NC II, aligned with TESDA's scholarship initiatives that provide financial assistance for vocational training and certification.
Currently, the campus is finalizing preparations for the registration of its Hotel Restaurant Management qualification, reflecting a strategic response to the rising demand for skilled professionals in the tourism and service sectors. Under the leadership of CEO Alegado, CIT Dean Jane Gladys Abran, and Dean Martinez, the campus plans to introduce industrial technology programs by early 2025, further enhancing its educational offerings.
The acquisition of this new vehicle not only highlights the campus's commitment to continuous development and enhanced logistical efficiency but also plays a crucial role in the success of its TVET and academic programs, ensuring that CSU-Sanchez Mira remains at the forefront of vocational education and provides students with exceptional opportunities for skills development and career advancement.
