To evaluate the campus’ compliance with the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) policies, standards, and guidelines across its institutional operations and academic program offerings, CSU–Sanchez Mira Campus underwent the CHED Regional Office II (CHED RO2) Institutional and Program Monitoring on November 19, 2025.
The activity was originally planned as an on-site visit; however, due to inclement weather and travel difficulties affecting the region, the evaluation was shifted to a virtual format. Despite the change, the monitoring proceeded as scheduled, ensuring the continuity of CHED’s quality assurance processes.
The online assessment was facilitated by Engr. Joven B. Jacinto, Education Supervisor II, who led the evaluation and provided guidance throughout the process.
The monitoring covered several critical areas essential to academic quality and institutional performance, including the qualifications of deans and department heads, faculty profiles, outcomes-based curriculum implementation, library and laboratory resources, research productivity, community extension services, and linkages and networking initiatives.
Despite the sudden shift to a virtual setup, CSU Sanchez Mira officials, program chairs, faculty members, and support staff promptly adapted and ensured that all necessary documents and presentations were ready for a smooth and comprehensive evaluation.
