Emphasizing the evolving role of leadership beyond formal authority, the Graduate School of Cagayan State University (CSU)–Sanchez Mira Campus conducted a leadership forum on April 22, 2026, at the CSU–Sanchez Mira Conference Hall.

The forum was organized by the Doctor of Philosophy major in the Educational Management program, under the guidance of the course professor, Dr. Shella B. Cacatian, bringing together graduate students, faculty members, and academic leaders.

Anchored in the theme “Redefining Leadership as a Force of Influence that Transcends Titles and Transforms Educational Landscapes,” the event highlighted leadership as a dynamic, transformative practice in today’s educational landscape.

The main sessions featured keynote speaker William P. Apostol, who delivered a talk on “Leadership Without Position: Mastering Influence in 360 Degrees,” emphasizing that effective leadership is defined not by rank but by the ability to influence, inspire, and guide others across all levels of an organization.

Meanwhile, Dr. Leo R. Banatao presented “The Architecture of Leadership: Pillars that Endure,” underscoring integrity, vision, and adaptability as essential foundations for sustaining effective leadership over time.

The forum forms part of the CSU Graduate School’s continuing efforts to develop forward-thinking leaders equipped to drive innovation and meaningful change in educational environments.
