The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) of Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)–Sanchez Mira, conducted a Skills Enhancement Extension Training under Project AGAPAY (Aksyon sa Galing at Pagsasanay para sa mga Alagad ng Bayan) on November 4, 2025.
The training, themed “Skills for Sustainability: Servicing and Maintenance Program,” aimed to strengthen the technical competencies of BFP personnel in automotive, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting and maintenance. Led by FINSP James C. Duterte, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, the activity promoted sustainable practices and operational efficiency among uniformed personnel.
Through this initiative, CIT reaffirmed its commitment to community service, inter-agency collaboration, and lifelong learning, empowering public servants with innovative and practical technical knowledge to support public safety and environmental sustainability.
