Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus was recognized as the “Most Active Partner” of the Department of Agriculture–Agricultural Training Institute, Regional Training Center 02 (ATI-RTC 02) for its outstanding support, active participation, and strong partnership in the promotion and implementation of various coconut development programs and initiatives.

The recognition, conferred during an awarding ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol of Isabela on August 11, 2026, which acknowledges the Campus’ significant contribution to the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) and related initiatives aimed at strengthening the coconut industry and supporting the continuing development and empowerment of coconut farmers.

Representing CSU-Sanchez Mira Campus during the awarding ceremony were Dr. Rodel Francisco Alegado, the Campus Executive Officer of CSU Sanchez Mira, Mr. Raymond Bueno, Extension Coordinator, and Atty. Jan Lean Verzon, Administrative Officer.

The award underscores the Campus’ commitment to responsive extension services and meaningful collaboration with government agencies and development partners. It likewise affirms the Cagayan State University remains dedicated to advancing quality instruction, producing innovative research, expanding meaningful community service, and fostering productive outcomes.
