You are ambassadors of our academic institution and your being there is a gift to the world, " says CSU President, Dr. Urdujah Gaerlan Alvarado, CESO II as she inducted the new set of CSU Global Alumni Association on December 30, 2023 during the virtual ALUMNI KAPIHAN WITH THE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT 2023 themed as “The World to CSU; CSU to the World: A Celebration of CSUan Spirit and Synergy which gave birth to the CSU Global Alumni Association with Mr. James C. Secretario , a BS in Agriculture Graduate of Batch 2011 of CSU- Sanchez Mira based in Southwales Australia as the President . To wit the new set of officers :

With the new set of CSU global alumni officers and representatives coming from countries such as USA, Switzerland , Canada Oman, UAE, Thailand Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam , Japan , plans of the programs and projects were set through President Secretario to include:
1. Identification of the primary concern or assistance to be extended to each of the campuses including the extension campuses of Calayan for Sanchez Mira and Buguey for Aparri and the new campus, Solana
2. Establishment of portal to assist, guide and update all the alumni for their placement and employment .
3. Development of global alumni link to establish an easy access of global alumni directory .
4. Strengthen the support to poor but deserving students through financial assistance or scholarships.
5. Fortify the alumni representation in the curriculum revision, , faculty immersion and other areas where the alumni can extend support.
President Secretario further stressed his commitment to devote time to the organization to be functional officers and pointed the Constitution and by laws of the organization as its compass or anchor of the organization to its clear direction.
This annual Kapihan in its third year now was conceived thru the office of the Alumni Relations and Placement Services under the direct tutelage of VP Engr. Theresa Dimalanta for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Director Recto Aguirre for the Alumni relations and Placement Services and campus coordinators under the Administration of President Alvarado to strengthen the bond of CSU family (Admin, Students, and alumni), the industry relations and collaborations that gears towards the realization of the Vision and Mission of Cagayan State University.
Gracing the event also are the Faculty and Student Regent ,Campus Executive Officers, Campus Coordinators for ARPS , Campus Alumni Association Presidents and the other CSU alumni from all over the world #.
