Today, October 10, the Cagayan State University-Sanchez Mira proudly honors the inspiring leadership of its Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado.
Taking the Lead

Our campus has thrived under his guidance and dedication, achieving unprecedented milestones while fostering a nurturing learning environment. Beyond his leadership achievements, Dr. Alegado uplifts us all with his steadfast passion for social equity and mentorship. Testament of Legacy
As someone deserving of resounding applause, it is evident in the eyes of all CSUAns that his love for serving the campus and its community is truly remarkable. He epitomizes leadership. Ms. Kristine Leano, the CSC President, shared that the best aspect of having him as Campus Executive Officer is having a leader they look up to. She emphasized the support he provides for all student-led activities and initiatives.
We are grateful to have him as our inspiration, reminding us that despite the challenges of leadership, we should remain unbothered by them. "If you want something, work hard for it. Never let obstacles hinder your progress," she added, reflecting on the invaluable lessons learned from our CEO.
Also, Dr. Florentina G. Reyes, OSDW Coordinator testify that Sir Rodel uses encouraging dialogue, feedback and collaboration among student leaders across colleges leading to a more cohesive SM student council. She said that he always adopt a collaborative leadership styles.
Such spirit inspires us to collaboratively work at the Office of the Student Welfare. His dedication and collaborative spirit continue to inspire us all. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”, she added.
