CSU CONCLUDES 2024 WITH A SUCCESSFUL YEAR-END EVALUATION, ASSESSMENT REVIEW, AND FELLOWSHIP NIGHT

Cagayan State University marked the end of 2024 with a successful Year-End Assessment and Review held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Claude Andrews Convention Center. The event celebrated the university's milestones and achievements throughout the academic year.

OIC for the Office of the University President, Arthur G. Ibañez, expressed his gratitude for the positive outcomes of the reports and emphasized that these achievements reflect the collective efforts of all university offices.

Reports, through audio-visual presentations, were presented by the university's Vice Presidents, including VP Mariden Cauilan for Academic Affairs, VP Theresa Dimalanta for Administration and Finance, VP Ana Marie Cauilan for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization, and VP Junel Guzman for Research, Development, and Extension. The results highlighted CSU’s accomplishments, showcasing its ability to meet and exceed targets and commitments.

Further, the nine Campus Executive Officers from CSU’s satellite campuses also shared their way forward for their respective campuses, focusing on future strategies and initiatives.

Following the assessment review, the President’s Report, titled "One Vision, One CSU: The President’s Report," was unveiled during the Fellowship Night on December 20 at the Andrews Campus Gymnasium. Presented through an audio-visual presentation, the report encapsulated CSU’s notable achievements for 2024, including numerous national and international recognitions, accreditations, top-performing graduates, groundbreaking projects, and infrastructure developments, among others.
The Fellowship Night was honored by the presence of Hon. Joseph “Jojo” Lara, a member of the Board of Regents, alongside campus executives, university officials, and other distinguished guests. Former CSU President Dr. Urdujah Alvarado, Dr. Florentina Dumlao, and Board of Regent Members Hon. Dionisio C. Ledres, Hon. Ricardo B. Casauay, and Student Regent Hon. John Lester S. Jaime also graced the event.

A highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated Paskoligsahan, where Sanchez Mira Campus claimed 1st Place, followed by Lallo in 2nd Place and Andrews in 3rd Place. Additionally, the Andrews Campus clinched 1st Place in the Videoke Challenge, Sanchez Mira landed second followed by Carig campus.

Performances from various university offices were showcased, with entries inspired by CSU’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The celebration brought the CSU community together, wrapping up the year on a high note of camaraderie, excellence, and shared purpose.

With its continued dedication to operational excellence, innovation, and service, CSU remains steadfast in its mission to serve as a beacon of progress and transformation, championing the spirit of One Vision, One CSU.
