Following the initial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus and Apayao State College–Luna Campus on October 14, the two institutions formally reaffirmed their academic partnership through a ceremonial MOU signing held on October 21 at EKB Auditorium, ASC-Luna Campus.
Heading the ceremonial signing were Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, Campus Executive Officer of CSU-SM; Dr. John N. Cabansag, ASC President; and Dr. Ronald O. Ocampo, ASC VP for Academics, Research, Development, and Extension Services , symbolizing the institution's’ unified commitment to strengthening the partnership.
The ceremony highlighted the shared commitment of CSU and ASC to strengthen academic collaboration, research, and innovation. The partnership seeks to enhance curriculum development, faculty and student exchange, technology transfer, and community extension programs.
The original MOU, signed at the Office of the Campus Executive Officer of CSU–Sanchez Mira, serves as a three-year framework for cooperative initiatives aimed at improving academic quality and institutional capacity.
Officials and faculty members from both institutions were likewise present to witness the ceremonial signing.
