CSU UNDERGOES JOINT CHED RO2 TP-RQAT EVALUATION FOR GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira Campus, along with the Carig Campus, underwent a Joint Technical Panel (JTP) and Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) Evaluation, spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 02, on September 1, 2025.

The evaluation covered six graduate programs: Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Educational Management; Master of Science in Teaching major in Biology; Master of Science in Teaching major in Mathematics; Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management; Master of Arts in Education major in English; and Master of Arts in Physical Education (for Carig Campus).

The evaluation proper highlighted the presentation of programs and areas of application by program coordinators and deans, alongside the review of Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) documents. This was followed by deliberation on the findings and a post-conference session, during which the TP-RQAT members presented the results, clarified issues in an open forum, and secured confirmation of agreements.

The conduct of the TP-RQAT Evaluation reaffirms CSU’s commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and compliance with the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education.
