As part of its continuing extension services, the College of Teacher Education (CTE) of Cagayan State University (CSU) conducted a Training on Branding and Marketing Strategies for Coco Food Products on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Dacal–Pukel Elementary School.
The activity was attended by parents, local community members, and interested learners, who actively participated in the discussions and hands-on sessions. The training was facilitated through the CTE Pre-Service Teachers’ Organization, highlighting the role of future educators in community engagement and knowledge sharing.
The extension activity aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in digital marketing, branding, and product promotion to enhance the marketability of coco-based food products. It also supports the university’s thrust to strengthen community livelihoods by providing capacity-building programs responsive to local needs.
The seminar proper featured a session on Introduction to Digital Marketing for Food Products, delivered by Mr. Joevannie Cacatian, who discussed basic online marketing concepts and platforms applicable to small-scale food enterprises. This was followed by discussions on the Development of Marketing Materials and Actual Training, both conducted by Dr. Gleann Corpuz, who provided practical strategies and guided participants in creating simple, effective marketing outputs for coco food products.
