To evaluate accomplishments, revisit targets, and strengthen teamwork toward achieving institutional goals, the Cagayan State University (CSU)-Sanchez Mira Campus conducted its 2026 Campus Midyear Performance Review and Team Building Activity on July 16–17, 2026, at Paoay Lake JLP Resort, Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

The two-day activity focused on assessing the campus’ performance during the first half of the year and identifying strategic actions to enhance programs, services, and operational initiatives.

In his message, Prof. Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, Campus Executive Officer, emphasized that the midyear assessment is not merely a review of accomplishments but an opportunity for reflection, improvement, and renewed commitment.

“A mid-year assessment is not merely a checkpoint; it is a mirror that shows us both our progress and our potential,” Alegado said.

He stressed that assessment is not about fault-finding but about foresight, discipline, and resilience, encouraging CSU personnel to align their efforts with the university’s vision and continue creating meaningful impact through service and leadership.

The activity featured presentations and discussions from key campus officials, including Prof. Dr. Allan O. De la Cruz, Campus Academic Affairs Coordinator, who led the session on Performance Review and Strategic Reset. Other presentations were delivered by Mr. Ian D. Fontanilla, Campus Coordinator for Research and Development; Mr. Raymond D. Bueno, Campus Coordinator for Extension; Prof. Dr. Shella B. Cacatian, Campus Coordinator for IPRM; Atty. Jan Leandro P. Verzon, Administrative Officer V; Dr. Freddie P. Masuli, Campus Auxiliary Coordinator; Ms. Fely Jane R. Reyes, CPA, Campus Accountant; and Mr. Rex Lee S. Dullit, Superintendent of Calayan Extension, followed by an open forum where participants shared insights, concerns, and recommendations.

A team-building session facilitated by Dr. Verlino D. Baddu, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, was also conducted to enhance collaboration, communication, and workplace unity among participants.

The 2026 Campus Midyear Performance Review served as a venue for CSU-Sanchez Mira Campus personnel to recalibrate priorities, strengthen institutional partnerships, and renew their commitment to excellence in service, leadership, and community development
