Faculty and selected students from the College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy at Cagayan State University- Sanchez Mira participated in a virtual roundtable discussion on global workforce competencies on March 21, 2025.
Organized by Cagayan State University in collaboration with the ASEAN Accounting Education Work Group, the discussion centered on essential industry skills such as technology innovation, sustainability, data privacy, and risk compliance. Experts from international business sectors engaged with academic panelists from leading universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom.
Among the attendees were CSU leaders, including OIC University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez and University Dean Dr. Giged T. Battung. This effort supports CSU's goal of academic internationalization and aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17 on global partnerships.
As CSU continues its mission to produce globally competent graduates, this discussion provided meaningful takeaways for participants on aligning education with industry demands.
