๐๐๐๐๐๐ | UNAUTHORIZED SALE OF CSU UNIFORMS, IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) AND LANYARDS
The Administration of Cagayan State University-Sanchez Mira received reports that University uniforms (School, PE and Department) as well as IDs and Lanyards are being sold by unauthorized suppliers.
The public is hereby reminded that the CSU symbols (seal, logo, badges, and others) are official properties of Cagayan State University protected by existing laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Pursuant to R.A. 8293 also known as โINTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CODE OF THE PHILIPPINESโ, unauthorized commercial use of a registered trademark, which includes selling merchandise with attached protected marks, without permission, constitutes infringement, hence, prohibited.
The public is hereby as well notified, in protection of the Universityโs right over its properties, that legal actions shall be taken against persons or entities who have found to be in violation of the above-cited law.
